Bolton Methodist Mission is a thriving Christian Church with a
whole variety of activities for people of all ages.
The Mission works with many partners to provide innovative community based
projects.
The Mission statement is simply
"Seeking to Serve...God, People,
the Town and the Community in partnership with others."
For over 100 years the vision has been to provide a place of worship and a
community resource for the people of Bolton.
At our heart is a thriving worshipping community which meets on Sundays at:
10:30 am With The Light Years for
youth and a Creche.
2.00 pm French Speaking service
6.30 pm Evening Worship

I am delighted to report that our work has recently been recognised by the North West Multi Faith Tourism Association who have awarded us with their Marque of Excellence.
Here is an extract from their report:
“Following the visit to your church on 20th November 2009 and receipt of your completed application form, I am pleased to inform you that Bolton Methodist Mission, The Victoria Hall has surpassed the standards of excellence for visitor welcome as defined by the North West Multi Faith Tourism Association and that the church is therefore to be presented with the association’s award of Marque of Excellence .
I am enclosing a copy of the Quality Report for your information. In terms of the report our highest overall classification is ‘excellent’ but you will see that under Section 7: ‘Community Links’ I have had to rate the site as ‘outstanding’ which is something that I have never done before. Well done!”
