A Word From Revd Phil Mason

This Sunday is between the Ascension and Pentecost when the disciples were awaiting the gifts of the Holy Spirit. When the Spirit came the gifts were poured out on those early believers. Ever since then the gifts of the Spirit have been given to believers to carry out God's work. What a privilege we have to be part of this work and to share the gifts that have been given to each of us. Here at Victoria Hall we are making significant changes to the staff team from September this year and we are currently looking to recruit a pastoral worker. Details of this position are contained within this sheet but I would ask for your prayers as we look for the right person for this important position in the life of the Church. I would also urge you to consider if God is calling you to this important work or even prompting you to ask someone you know to consider this role. All of us have gifts from the Holy Spirit so as we await this Pentecost be open to where the Spirit might be leading you.
