STEPS IT & FIX IT - Infomation Technology Training
The project can provide training in Information Technology for all levels of ability from absolute beginners to people who want to upgrade their skills.
Training is tailored to meet the goals of each individual within a safe, supported environment.
The training provided also includes the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), complete the course with BAND IT at your own pace, the project is a registered test centre for the ECDL.
Currently BAND IT offer practice drop-in sessions on a Monday and a Friday between 10am and 4pm.
FIX IT
FIX IT (Social enterprise project) involves computer recycling, offering a wide range of services to help with your IT solutions provided at competitive rates. We collect unwanted computers and refurbish them for use by other people. A complete refurbished computer with CD ROM, keyboard, mouse and monitor can be purchased for as little as £39. Refurbished computers include 90 days repair/replacement guarantee. Both BAND IT and BRASS projects are working together on this initiative offering a wide range of services.
